Thank you for visiting my page. Happy holidays and I wish you very good start of the new year too.
I recently got myself the Hotone Ampero mini and had to do some work to get the DIY expression pedal I have working properly with it. I also wanted to test out how the single and dual switch would work in my setup. I made a video about how the DIY solutions work with this unit and also how to make them. You can follow the diagrams if you wanna make some.
I usually shop here: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/ for my parts. You might wanna look at https://lovemyswitches.com/ or https://www.musikding.de/
I purchased this unit for myself a while ago. I decided to make a video where I go trough most of the features and the settings and also a video where I play all of the presets.
There will be more videos on how to make the external switches for this and also about the other ways you can use it.
This is how I route the audio from my Digital Audio Workstation to my screen recording/streaming software.
In the example I use studio one and OBS. The method works with other DAW’s and streming software too.
You can get the plugin you need from here. https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/
Here’s the video
I made this pedal for myself a while ago. I wanted a volume pedal that I can also use an expression pedal when I need to. I just switch the pedal to expression with the 4pdt footswitch I put in the case. I also installed a potentiometer I can adjust the minimum volume with.
Here’s a video I did about the build.
I have this on my pedal board and I had to do a custom cable so I can use this with my new Hotone ampero mini. There will be a video about that and my board soon.

Here’s the wiring diagram if you want to make your own. The pot values you need might change depending on your setup and so on so I suggest you do some research on that.

I ordered my enclosure here: https://uraltone.com/valualimiinikotelo-wah.html A wah enclosure will do and you could find a used unworking wah for cheap, I would probably do this since this enclosure had some issues I had to figure out.
I used a potentiometer like this https://www.tubeampdoctor.com/en/wah-pot-100k-fits-fulltone-clyde-wah-dunlop-cry-baby You might need a different value depending on your gear. Do a search about volume pedals and see what should be good for you.
The switch is this https://www.musikding.de/4PDT-footswitch You can find these cheaper at https://www.taydaelectronics.com/ where I get my electronics.
Then you just need some wire and the tools.
Here’s the diagram. Check the video.

Here’s how I set my interface software mixer for taking captures and how I route on Tonex. Video about the process on my youtube channel here

The last few days I have been busy taking captures of my DIY pedals and putting the tone models on ToneNET. Go check out your favorites and download the ones you like for free if you want.
Here’s a few pictures of the process.

I will make a post about how to set things up with TONEX for a capture. In the mean time here’s a video about how it’s done.
And here are some images about my Audio interface mixer settings I need to use while capturing.

DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearlyI bought Amplitube 5 last winter on a Black Friday sale and I have been enjoying it ever since. I decided to make a few videos about the it and at this time I have just released a video about the interface and the basics. I will be getting more in depth with it in the next ones and I will show how to set up a midi controller with it and then maybe do some stuff with Tonex that I walso have.
You can also check my presets on my ToneNET site. There will be more.

And there are some soundsamples on soundcloud.
